Everybody Isn't Going To Be Happy For You...Period!
We would like to think that people will remain in our lives forever, but for some that is just not the case! We would like to believe that when we evolve, change, and grow the ones we love will be happy for us, but sometimes that is just not the case.
Have you ever heard the saying that misery loves company? Well, this statement is beyond true. There are going to be people in your life who just CAN'T be happy for you! They just don't have it in them. It can be for a number of reasons: Jealousy, envy, disappointment in themselves, they aren't where they want to be, or they just really don't like you, maybe never did! There are also those who are okay until you surpass where they are.
NEWSFLASH! If the people that you love can't be happy for you, then these aren't the people that you need to be around! You should be hesitant to be around them because if they aren't for your good... You can't afford to surround yourself around negative energy, you can't afford to be at a standstill, and you can't afford to go backwords. Birds of a feather flock together, so just maybe you need a new flock!
When God says it's time to move people out of your life, let them go! When you outgrew your favorite dress or your favorite pair of jeans, you had to retire them. We outgrow some people and that's okay. Then there are some people that we have to love from a distance because we just aren't the same person that we once were and the ones that love you will embrace, support, and respect that. People who love you want favor on your life, even when they aren't living right. If you are surrounded around those that don't, whether they're lost, troubled, or just not themselves, you have to do what's best for you and your life. You are no battle for the enemy. You pray for them but you also separate from them.
